Okay, it’s birthday time and you have no idea what to do. Another girls/boys night out at the hot new restaurant that’s impossible to get into? Maybe Sammy’s Romanian where you can down frozen vodka or Tortilla Flats where your friends will certainly make you hula hoop until you “win” them free tequila shots? How about getting yourself a private room at Japas 38- for $45 a person, you have your own room with all-you-can-drink booze for 2 hours. Plus, you’ve got some sushi platters and hot appetizers (stick to the Japanese stuff and ignore the mini-sausages, aka hot dogs until you’ve had one too many sake bombs). If you plan to keep the party going- add on $15 per person for an extra hour or $25 per person for two. No need to practice “Like a prayer,” when you’ll be in a private room (and you’ll be wasted).
