About Us
We’re a married couple living in Midtown. We are passionate about all things food, wine and beer and thought it would be fun to share our wining and dining adventures in NYC and beyond.
We’ve had some over-the-top dining experiences, including a 12-course tasting meal at the Chef’s Table at Gordon Ramsay’s at The London, a Brooklyn Brewery Beer Dinner at Per Se, the white truffle tasting menu at Babbo, an epic feast at Pierre Gagnaire in Paris, multiple visits to Blue Hill at Stone Barns, an unreal Italian feast at Vetri in Philadelphia, a 7-course truffle tasting menu at Stella! in New Orleans, and brunches at Equus and the Farmhouse at the Bedford Post. Not to mention a decadently, gluttonous trip to France for our honeymoon, where we ate and drank our way through Bordeaux and Paris. But we also love stumbling into little mom and pop restaurants in the East Village and Brooklyn.
We’re off to hit the streets of Manhattan (and surrounding areas) to try different bars and restaurants, speak with the regulars and the bartenders, and then post about experiences and drop some restaurant and bar intel along the way. We’ll seek out the city’s best BYOBs, food and wine events, all-you-can drink brunch specials, Sunday Suppers, free wine tastings, prix fixe deals and more.
It’s impossible for us to write about each and every dining and drinking experience, so be sure to follow us here on Twitter @WinedandDined to get real-time updates on specials, deals, and our culinary adventures.
We’d love to hear from you. Shoot us an email at either:

Dear Jill & Andy:
The way you both write – you are a really fun pair and well-matched! Congratulations on being newlyweds and many happy wishes. Look forward to checking your website for food critiques and wine tastings. Thanks alot and the website looks great.
Thanks for the kind words and for checking out our blog, Aviva.
Adam and I are very impressed with your robust blog! Keep it up!
Jill and Andy, I miss you. Rather, I miss eating and drinking with you, specifically in Manhattan. While Los Angeles has the beaches, sun, and low-priced Mexican fare, it has earthquakes, forest fires, and a dearth of decent, conveniently-located dining and drinking establishments. Could you kindly start an LA edition?
Cordial,
Michael D. Ross

Although we haven’t met personally, I feel like I know you both so well. Jill, your mom is so sweet and has told me about your great web site. You both do a terrific job and I know you are truly passionate about your dining and wining experiences. All the best.

Andy and Jill,
Just came across your blog and must commend you for a job well done. I posted a link to your article “NYC Restaurants & Bars Step Up Relief Efforts For Haiti” in the “Chefs Lair” LinkedIn group. Andy, thanks for taking the time to write it.
I welcome you both (and anyone else interested in good food with family and friends) to join the Chef’s Lair LinkedIn Group (http://www.linkedin.com/groups?home=&gid=2556946) as another way for you to expand readership to your excellent blog. The group just started but will be growing.
Thanks again for the great work!

how do i recieve this as an e-mail?
Enjoyed your website and blog, keep up the good work.
Hi! Just discovered your site…now am subscribing to it…and am loving it! Are you on FB?
I was on your website and was going to call but thought this would be a better way to contact you.
If you email to promote your website or are considering doing so. DO NOT pay more than $20 per million.
WE can prove to you how you can OWN better quality opt-in email data and have it emailed at 90% less than for what our competitors RENT IT!
Stay away from the email vendor con artists that tell you that they only ‘rent’ data, i.e. you can’t take possession of the data and they have to send it!
Your company should not take the chance of having its name in an email going out without your company having possession of the data that proves how that data was opt-ed in.
Additionally, you will never even know how many emails bounced. Many of these con artist emailer ‘renters’ would never give you the email because almost all of it will bounce!
