good Restaurant in W Village Takes a Page From RUB BBQ

Published by Andy at 9:12 am under Food, Wine & Beer News

Word comes in this morning that good Restaurant in the West Village (89 Greenwich Ave) is launching what it’s calling “Really Good Burger Sundays“. Every Sunday from 6-10 pm, good will be showcasing a different burger creation served with house-made condiments and sides. As part of the promo, they’ll also be offering half-price bottles of wine and $5 beers. RUB BBQ (208 W 23rd St) has been wowing burger aficionados since last October with its Monday night-only rotating burger special. Past burgers have included the Goober Burger (peanut butter), Ham & Cheese Burger (dry cured ham and brie), Hamburguesa de Puebla (chorizo, oaxaca cheese & papalote), Burnt-End Burger (BBQ brisket burnt ends mixed into the patty), Fried Burger, Hawaiian Burger (barbecued Spam and grilled pineapple), Pizza Burger (meatball spices topped with pepperoni, mozzarella, and tomato sauce), Pastrami Ruben Burger and more. Rub doesn’t serve burgers the other 6 nights of the week.  Follow A Hamburger Today to find out what the special burger of the week is at Rub.
