Tonight is Pizza & A Movie Night at Co.
Starting tonight and continuing the second Monday of each month, Jim Lahey and his team at Co. (230 9th Ave. at 24th St.) will host monthly movie nights paired with a pie inspired by the movie. Tonight’s movie is Les Blank’s “Garlic is as Good as Ten Mothers” and the special pie is going to be garlic-inspired. The movie will be played silently during the beginning of dinner service and then will be shown with sound at 9:30 p.m. In addition, sales of the special movie night pies will go towards the West 50th Street Campus’ High School of Hospitality Management and Food and Finance High School. Here’s a little snippet of the movie to whet your appetite.
