Cabrito (50 Carmine St.) is joining in on the Monday night dinner and a movie fun. The second Monday of each month, Jim Lahey and his team at Co. (230 9th Ave. at 24th St.) host a movie night together with a special pie inspired by the movie. But you gotta check out what Cabrito is offering! Starting at 9pm every Monday evening, the restaurant offers Cabrito Classics where they show one of the staff’s favorite films on the flat screen and for just $25 (not including tax & tip) you get all-you-can-eat tacos for the duration of the entire movie PLUS bottomless Dos Equis from opening scene to end credits. In addition they’ll be offering their regular happy hour drink specials, which include $5 margaritas and well drinks, and their $6 Recession Special (PBR tallboy & shot of whiskey), among others. Wanna pick the movie? If you bring 10 people to a Cabrito Classics night, they’ll let you pick the movie for an upcoming movie night…and that night you’ll get specially selected complimentary drinks while the movie plays. Here’s an upcoming schedule of movies: 2/22: Anchorman (running time 91 minutes) 3/1: Spinal Tap (running time 82 minutes) 3/8: Office Space (running time 89 minutes). I think I’ll wait for The Godfather (running time 175 minutes) to maximize my all-you-can-drink time!
