Well it doesn’t look like Team Boulud is wasting any time in getting 2010 started off on the right foot. Come Wednesday, January 20th, Scott Kasen and Chefs Daniel Boulud and Gavin Kaysen are hosting a little soirée at the new Bar Pleiades. The “Winter Cocktails” event will feature some creative winter cocktails by bartender Cameron Bogue (notice we’re not calling them mixologists in 2010) as well as a whole slew of hors d’oeuvres from guest chefs Nate Appleman (Pulino’s Bar and Pizzeria), George Mendes (Aldea), and Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo from L.A.’s famed meat-centric restaurant, Animal. Not to mention all proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Citymeals-on-Wheels.  There is a VIP Champagne and Cocktail reception beginning at 6pm ($150) and then the event opens up from 7-10pm for the general admission guests ($100).  So you can get some killer cocktails and apps, as well as your first write-off of 2010.  Click here for more info and to purchase tickets >>
