Gotham Bar & Grill — Launching a new series of regional wine dinners called Mondays Uncorked on January 18th.  On Mondays throughout 2010, Gotham will highlight different famous wine producing regions across the globe, focusing on a particular country each month.  Chef Alfred Portale and Chef de Cuisine Jason Hall will create a $75 four-course prix fixe menu incorporating each region’s traditional flavors, ingredients and dishes.  On these weekly BYO evenings, guests are encouraged to bring in their own wines from each featured region.  The idea being that these wines will naturally pair best with the cuisine.  Mondays Uncorked waive Gotham’s standard $55 corkage fee.
