Insane Deal Alert: $5 Octoberfest Menu at Fishtail
How did I miss this one on Eater’s Dealfeed? Through October 31st, David Burke’s Fishtail (E. 62nd b/t Park & Lex) is continuing its Octoberfest Menu (available everyday during lunch from 12-5pm, again after 10pm and for Sunday brunch). Just about everything on the menu is $5, including The Fisthtail Burger, Big Eye Tuna Burger and Portobello Burger. It’s cheaper than street meat! You can also get 5 oysters of the day for $5, 5 littleneck clams for $5, soup of the day for $5, french fries for $5 (truffle fries for $8), milkshakes for $5 (boozy milkshakes for $7.50), Sam Adams Octoberfest for $5 and for you high-rollers a glass of ’99 Dom Perignon paired w/ a half lobster cocktail for $35. I’m going to check it out now! The Octoberfest Menu is available weekdays for lunch and nightly after 10 p.m., as well as Sunday brunch, thru October 31st; 135 E 62nd Street.
how was your experience? Mine wasn’t that great. There’s a reason why it’s a $5 burger. You get an english muffin instead of a brioche bun, fries are extra and the service wasn’t quite friendly.
