Eat Like Mike: Michael Jordan’s The Steak House Honors Michael Jordan The Hall of Famer

Published by Andy at 9:50 am under Food, Wine & Beer News

There are many around town who call the burger at Michael Jordan’s Steak House the most underrated burger in the city. We tried it a few months back as part of the Benjamin Steakhouse Burger Challenge and agree that it’s a pretty fine burger. Starting this Friday and going through the end of September, MJ The Steak House is honoring MJ the Baller in celebration of his induction into the Hall of Fame. They are rolling out the Hall of Fame Burger using some of MJ’s favorite ingredients. It’s made with fried green tomatoes, sliced onions, Jordan’s own blend of prime sirloin and chuck, and finished with his Nana’s dressing. It’s offered in the bar area and is served with fries and a Brooklyn Brewery beer for $23. The Steak House is also offering an “Eat Like Mike” meal that replicates MJ’s pre-game ritual dinner — Delmonico steak served with a baked potato and broccoli  for $39. And it comes with a complimentary glass of Champagne to celebrate his induction. Unlike Mike, try to keep your tongue in your mouth!
