Brasserie Celebrates its 50th Anniversary Next Month With a FREE LUNCH & Other Great Deals
Not so fast for those who thought Beacon’s $10 3-Course Anniversary Dinner was the deal of the year. Brasserie (100 East 53rd b/t Park & Lex) may have it beat. Brasserie first opened in the Seagram Building in 1959 and in honor of its 50th Anniversary, the restaurant will be running some pretty insane specials. It all kicks off Thursday, September 17th with A (Free) Taste of Brasserie – A FREE 3-course lunch that’s open to all who reserve a seat between 11:30 am 2:30 pm. Call (212) 751-4840 now for reservations before it’s too late. The first one hundred callers not to get a seat on the 17th will instead receive a rain check for a complimentary $19.59 after 9 dinner. And that’s not all. Through the end of 2009, Brasserie will also be offering a $19.59 After 9 Menu, a 3-course prix fixe dinner for under $20! There will also be a special 5 Decades of Brasserie Cuisine Dinner open to the public on September 30th — the menu will feature five courses of archivals from Brasseries five decades.
