for lunch, i would say cafe boulud is definitely the way to go. dovetail is great, too, if upper west side is ok with you. asiate in time warner center’s mandarin orientel is a good option for the view.

The Modern is only serving Dinner in the Bar Room for Restaurant Week. Just spoke with a manager.
